Meghan Coleman DNP, RN, CRNP, AOCNP

Dr. Coleman has been an advanced practice nurse in Oncology for over 20 years. Her nursing background has included home care and advocating for the development the role of the Advanced Practice Nurse in palliative care. Her doctoral project was titled: An APN Home Care Intervention: Implementing Evidence Based Coping Mechanisms for Breast Cancer Patients for which she won the DNP Innovation Award at their annual professional conference. She is currently employed at the Asplundh Cancer Pavilion, part of the Jefferson Health system. Her practice focuses on advocating for the psychosocial support needs of the cancer patient throughout the trajectory of the cancer experience. Additionally, she serves in the leadership role as the Cancer Survivorship Clinic Coordinator. She has participated in several ONS initiatives, most recently the Inaugural ONS Hackathon, which she won with her teammate Alison Faust.
