Deborah Christensen MSN, APRN, AOCNS, OCN

Deb Christensen earned her nursing degree from Weber State University. She also completed an oncology-focused Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) program at Loyola University in Chicago. Deb is one of the co-founders of Cancer Help Desk, a non-profit organization that provides personalized assistance to cancer patients with a focus on identifying and navigating biomarker testing and clinical trials. She is also the author of the Health Change Trajectory Model, which is a model that provides a framework for understanding uncertainty during health challenges. Deb is a strong advocate for health literacy and nurse navigation and frequently shares her insights as a speaker in national conferences and publications. She has co-authored the book Oncology Nurse Navigation and has authored several book chapters. Her writings have been featured in ONS Voice and other nursing publications. Deb currently resides in Southern Utah amidst the beautiful red rocks.
