Dr. Daniel King is a gastrointestinal medical oncologist and researcher based at Northwell Health. He has a background in pancreatic cancer research and bioinformatics. He graduated from medical school at Wayne State University, completed residency training at Columbia University, fellowship training at Stanford University, and completed his PhD at the University of Cambridge. Currently, he serves as Director of Research and Development for the Northwell Health Cancer Institute’s Center for Genomic Medicine. Dr. King primarily treats patients with pancreatic cancer at Northwell Health. He also leads a research group, dedicated to the study of pancreatic cancer. His primary area of research is the development of computational tools to identify and navigate patients with new radiographic suspicion of pancreatic cancer. His other areas of disease interest include circulating tumor DNA and health care disparities.
